March 18 – April 1, 2020
Greetings dear patients and colleagues,
As things play out with COVID-19, we have decided to temporarily stop seeing patients in person from Wednesday March 18, 2020 through April 1. There have been no known infections, however, under the circumstances, it makes sense.
This is an extremely difficult decision. All of us at Healing Essence are experienced practitioners and are passionately committed to supporting the health of our patients. However, under the circumstances, I feel it is safest to temporarily close physical doors.
We will keep you informed as things unfold. We will be contacting you if you have an appointment presently set up.
Speaking for myself and Katherine, we are still here for you! We have potent tools that we are able to offer during these times of physical distancing.

Tong Ren Acupuncture
Yes, its possible to treat from a distance! Tong Ren is an energy healing therapy developed by Tom Tam, based on the principles of Chinese Medicine. It recognizes that illness is due to blockages in the body’s natural flow of: blood, neural bioelectricity, hormones and chi (life force energy). Because no physical contact is involved or necessary, Tong Ren is practiced as distance healing. The practitioner directs chi to blockage points corresponding to the patient’s condition, which breaks down resistance in those areas. As blood flow, neural transmission, and hormone reception are restored, the body is then able to heal. Patients often describe feeling strong energy movement and real time relief and benefits.
